Hello and Welcome to United Citizens Bank of Southern Kentucky and our family. We are situated in South Central Kentucky between Lake Cumberland and Green River Lake in a beautiful rural setting. A group of investors formed the idea of a new bank and its need in the South Central Kentucky area in the summer of 2003 and started putting in place the foundation and formulating a plan to open a bank in 2004. The seven members that form the Board of Directors are made up of individuals that carry a detailed history of various business backgrounds in the local area. C. Ronald Wise, Dr. Chuck Giles (Chairman of the Board), Marshall Loy, Philip Watson, Joe Pyles, Steve Mckinney, and Eddie Franklin. The staff is made up of experienced bank personnel with many years of local banking experience. This provides our bank with employees who are well known and involved in civic and community affairs and are concerned with the progress, success, and welfare of our communities. United Citizens Bank was chartered and opened for business December 6, 2004. We offer a full range of banking products, retail and commercial. You will be able to view those and the details at other pages of our website. Most banks all have the same products to advertise and offer their customers. They try hard to advertise and say things to get you to come in and come back. Once you come in and try us you will be back. We will show you what customer service is and you will feel it by working with our staff in developing your bank relationship with us. We are very proud of our bank and our location, but most of all we are proud of our staff, which is second to none in its desire to provide you with the best possible products and services available.
